Our aim is to provide children and parents an easy access to a quality experience that is super fun and enjoyable. If you would like to learn more about this offer, please contact for further details.

Holiday Clubs

Our holiday camps are designed for children aged between 4 and 7. The camps will take place during half term and end of term breaks and are typically for three hours each day from 10am to 1pm. We have found it works well for both young children and parents.

We welcome both Chinese and non-Chinese speaking families.

The activities include singing Chinese songs, playing different percussion instruments, music theory games, music and movement, making percussion instruments and traditional Chinese children’s games. We will tailor the content depending on children’s ability to ensure a fun-filled learning experience.

I really enjoy working with children. I’ve been part of the music education experience for 20 years now and I particularly enjoy seeing children develop their skills through my classes. It’s so rewarding to be a part of.

Do you speak Mandarin, have experience working with children, and play an instrument? Then we want to hear from you!

Send your CV to with ‘Teacher Vacancy’ as the subject title.

We look forward to hearing from you!

  • We’ve been coming for over 3 years!

We have been coming to Ginger’s Mandarin music classes for over three years, my oldest since he was 6 months old and my younger since he was a few weeks old, together with his brother. Ginger is a talented music teacher. She is very patient and has a lovely way with children. My sons have a lot of fun getting to try out different instruments during the class and I think that the balance of movement, music and activities suits children of different abilities and age ranges well. My children love the Mandarin nursery rhymes she has recorded for her students, and we listen to them all the time in the car.

    - Lynn(Mum to Benji & Marty)

  • Neither my husband or I speak Mandarin, but we were keen for our children to learn other languages from an early age. Ginger’s Mandarin music classes provide the perfect combination of activity, learning and repetition to keep our children interested in the sessions. I started bringing my children to classes when my daughter was 21 months and my son was 4 months old - the sessions really are perfect for any age. Ginger’s style is fun, relaxed and inclusive and the children interact well with her. I too have learnt some basic Mandarin and we regularly sing the songs and say the rhymes at home. I would recommend Ginger’s classes to anyone who wants their children to learn Mandarin, regardless of whether or not you speak the language at home.

    - Rebecca, Lillia’s Mum

  • I adopted my son from China, so it was really important to me to get him into a Chinese class right away, with other kids his age. He had just turned two. Someone recommended Ginger’s music class to me, and we both loved it straight away. Ginger is an amazing teacher, and so sweet with the children. We look forward to coming every week, and enjoy the many musical activities. It helps to remember the Chinese words when we put them to music, and it makes it more fun to learn.

    - Wendy(Kai’s Mum)

  • My son has been going to Ginger’s Mandarin class since he was 18 months old. My daughter also went to the same class before starting reception. Ginger introduces various musical instruments and popular Mandarin songs in the classes as well as teaching mandarin. She is kind and professional and both my children enjoyed this class a lot!
